M.U., 19 years old, Jerusalem

At the beginning of the year, I came with a lot of concerns, whether I would succeed and if I would be good at this field. And when I met the horses for the first time, I really fell in love with them. When I cleaned the stables, a lot of things that I went through in the past with my father came up, and the thing that most came up was that he locked me in the bathroom for a whole night in the dark. After that came up, it was really difficult for me to continue, but I fought it and today I love to clean the stables. And in the riding itself, all kinds of things from the past would come up, and I really went through an amazing process here. It was always calming to know that you were there for me when I was having a hard time, even just knowing you were there without doing anything really gave me confidence, especially in Megiddo, where you always helped us wholeheartedly.

I feel that since the beginning of the year my self-confidence has really increased thanks to the horses.

For me, the farm is very special and it calms me just to be here. The horses are amazing and each one is special in its own way. It feels like everyone is accepted here.
