At Ruthy’s Farm, we believe in the transformative power of horses and the resilience of the human spirit. Our specialized training program offers a unique pathway for at-risk young women to not only heal but also to become agents of healing themselves. We empower these remarkable individuals to become certified therapeutic riding instructors, guiding others on their own journeys of growth and recovery.

We have proudly completed two successful cycles of this intensive training, with approximately 25 young women graduating and embarking on new, empowered futures. For many of these graduates, this program has been a lifeline. Coming from deeply challenging backgrounds, often having been marginalized and forced out of their ultra-orthodox communities and facing the harsh realities of homelessness, exploitation, and abuse, these young women have shown incredible courage and determination. Our comprehensive approach integrates the therapeutic riding instructor training with holistic support and trauma-informed care, providing them with not just professional skills but also a safe and nurturing environment to heal and rebuild their lives. For these young women, this training is more than just a career path – it is a profound process of rescue and reclamation, offering them the opportunity to build self-worth, gain financial independence, and discover their inherent strengths.

Many of our graduates have already found meaningful employment in the field of therapeutic riding and related areas, a testament to their dedication and the quality of the training they received. They are now using their experiences and newly acquired skills to make a positive impact on the lives of others, breaking cycles of vulnerability and building brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
