Hiring our graduates
Women graduating from the second chorot are hired to work at the farm
Our specialized training program is designed for at-risk young women, offering them a unique opportunity to become certified therapeutic riding instructors. This journey is not just about acquiring new skills; it’s about a profound shift in identity. These young women evolve from often needing support themselves to becoming pillars of support, caregivers, and skilled professionals dedicated to facilitating healing for others through the power of equine therapy.
Graduating from this program means more than just a qualification; it signifies a new chapter of self-sufficiency and purpose. These remarkable young women gain the ability to support themselves financially and earn a living with dignity. Crucially, they also find themselves embraced by a supportive community—a steadfast circle of care and a sense of ‘home’ that had often been absent in their recent past, allowing them to build their futures on a foundation of strength, confidence, and belonging.
Ruthy shares about teaching the girls:
“There are truly no words to describe the sublime feeling of standing before a group of girls who, until so recently, were navigating immense hardships, their primary focus on just surviving another day. To now see them sitting before me, vibrant and healthy in body and spirit, smiling, and eager to learn and understand – witnessing their journey from a standstill to a state of continuous development and progress… It moves me deeply, every single time!”
